Geography

The village of Shakholovo is located in the west of the Moscow region, in the southern part of the Volokolamsk district, about 14 km south of the city of Volokolamsk . Near the village passes the highway P108 Suvorovo - Ruza .

On the territory of registered 2 gardening partnerships [2] . The nearest settlements are the villages of Solodovo , Shulgino and the village of Ostashevo .

History

In the β€œList of Populated Places” of 1862, Shakholovo is a state village of the 1st camp of the Ruzsky district of the Moscow province on the right side of the road from Ruza to Volokolamsk, 27 miles from the county town, with wells, with 13 yards and 78 residents (33 men, 45 women) [3] .

According to 1890, it was part of the Sudnikovsky volost of the Ruzsky district, the number of male souls was 57 people [7] .

In 1913 - 13 yards [8] .

1917-1929 - village Sudnikovskoy volost Volokolamsk district of Moscow province [9] .

According to the materials of the 1926 All-Union Census - the village of the Varaksinsky village council of the Sudnikovsky volost of the Volokolamsk district, 67 residents (23 men, 44 women) lived, there were 17 peasant farms [4] .

Since 1929 - a settlement within the Ruzsky district of the Moscow district of the Moscow region. By the decree of the Central Executive Committee and the Council of People's Commissars of July 23, 1930, the okrug as an administrative territorial unit was liquidated.
