The flag of the municipality is the rural settlement of Ivanovo, the Istra municipal district of the Moscow region of the Russian Federation - an identification mark serving as the official symbol of the municipality.

The flag was approved on October 15, 2010 by the decision of the Council of Deputies of the rural settlement Ivanovskoye No. 23 [1] and on March 29, 2011 it was added to the State Heraldry Register of the Russian Federation with assignment of registration number 6756 [2] .
Description
“A rectangular double-sided red panel with a ratio of width to length 2: 3, bearing along the upper edge a blue strip of width1/5 of the width of the cloth; in the middle of the panel are reproduced figures from the coat of arms of the settlement: on the red part of the panel, close to the strip, there are three interwoven yellow rhombuses (the field inside the spindles and blue between the spindles and the upper strip), and the yellow sun emerging from above ”.
None of the figures in the appendix to the decision on the approval of the flag, the width of the blue strip is 1/4 of the width of the flag.
Justification of Symbols
The flag of the rural settlement of Ivanovo in the language of symbols and allegories reveals its past and present.
In the 19th century, the village of Ivanovskoye (now a village) was known for its cloth-making factory of the former serf G. M. Tsyurikov. Subsequently, this factory developed into the largest production of woolen fabrics, which became one of the largest in Russia in terms of turnover. Cloth went mainly for army needs. On the flag of the settlement crossed rhombuses (spindles) - symbolize weaving. Yellow rhombuses, with their interweaving resembling military insignia, symbolize the production of cloth mainly for the army.
In the manufacture of cloth, a large amount of water was required, so a special sleeve from the Istra River was laid at the factory. On the flag of the rural settlement, the Ivanovo river Istra and the sleeve are allegorically represented by azure, smoothly flowing from the blue strip to the core of the spindles.
The rising shining sun symbolizes the inextricable historical connection of the rural settlement of Ivanovo with the Istra district: the sun is an element of the flag of the Istra municipal district .
Red color is a symbol of courage, life-affirming strength and beauty, holiday, labor.
Blue color (light blue ) is a symbol of exalted aspirations, sincerity, devotion, rebirth.
Yellow color ( gold ) is a symbol of the highest value, greatness, generosity, wealth, and harvest.
