Balmorhea

Balmorhea (pronounced “Balmorei” ) is a sextet from Texas , the city of Austin , formed in 2006 by Rob Lowe and Michael Muller, and combining modern experimental acoustic sound with elements of classical music in his work [1] . Among the groups and performers who influenced the style of the collective, its participants named a number ranging from avant-garde and classical, such as Ludwig Van Beethoven , Arvo Pärt , Ludovico Einaudi , Jimmy Page , Claude Debussy , Max Richter , John Milton Cage , to the experimental post- Rock The Six Parts Seven , Rachel's , Gillian Welch [2] [3] .

In 2007, the band recorded their first studio album , Balmorhea , and began touring the US and Europe. A year later, in February, the second album "Rivers Arms" was released . In the autumn of the same year, the group recorded a mini-album “Tour EP” , and in March 2009 the third full-length album “All is Wild, All is Silent” was released under the label of Western Vinyl Records . The album differs from the previous ones in more dense, voluminous and energetic music and receives good ratings and reviews [4] . The next, fourth, album, “Constellations”, is released in February 2010, after which the group goes for the third time to tour in the USA and for the fourth time in a tour of Europe .
