Symbols
The flag is designed on the basis of the coat of arms, which in the language of symbols and allegories reflects the natural and geographical features of the Idrinsky region.
The territory of modern Idrinsky district was developed by man more than two thousand years ago. The abundant taiga nature has always attracted immigrants. Meadows with lush grass, clean rivers served as an excellent source of food for numerous herds of nomads. And fertile soils subsequently allowed farmers to be based here.
In the XVIII century, the systematic development of the Idrinsky Territory began. In 1707, the Abakan prison was set up, already in 1736 the first village was founded, the Cossacks who served their service. Over time, the Idrinsk volost grew and by the beginning of the 20th century, it included 12 villages. Local industry gradually developed. Not far from the village of Idrinskoye, water mills began to be built on the Syda River, workshops of various profiles appeared, which made it possible to provide the population with everything necessary.
The mill wheel depicted on the flag not only indicates individual enterprises, but also generally allegorically symbolizes the successful industrial development of the region over the years.
Roe deer symbolizes the rich diverse Siberian nature of two natural zones: forest (taiga) and forest-steppe.
A wavy blue tip indicates the water resources of the area located in the basins of two rivers: Sydy and Shushi .
Blue color (light blue ) is a symbol of honor of nobility, spirituality; color of the boundless sky and water open spaces.
Yellow color ( gold ) is a symbol of harvest, wealth, stability, respect, intelligence.
