Four-strip leptura

Four-striped lepture [1] ( Leptura quadrifasciata ) is a species of beetle insects from the subfamily of the barbel ( Lepturinae ) within the barbel family ( Cerambycidae ). Distributed in the Palearctic — from Spain to Japan [2] . The length of the imago is 10–18 mm [3] . The larvae develop in deciduous and coniferous trees, including common spruce , common hazel , birch , European beech , aspen [2] . Pupation occurs in wood [2] . Imago is visited by flowers [2] . Helcon ruspator is a parasite of the larvae of this species of leptur [4] .
