Secrets of whales

Christopher Lambert plays another, similar to Tom Vatanen , environmentalist and strong-willed man in the television film "The Secret of the Whales." In this film, environmental issues are crucial and this is especially attractive, both for the audience and for the actors playing the main roles. ^[one]

Marine biologist Joe Waldmann decided to demonstrate to the public that sonar stations are responsible for the death of ashore whales . Convinced of this, he travels to the New Zealand coastal region, which is a natural habitat for whales, to prove his point. At the same time, the Gasonec energy concern is desperately trying to start drilling offshore on the same coast. When the scientist dies in the explosion, his daughter Anna will try to prove that it was a murder, and that Gasonec is the customer. At the same time, a young woman met with environmental activist Chris Kassel, who has his own scores with the concern. Chris Kassel, previously a powerful, rich, shameless careerist, crossed out his past and renounced all material wealth. Now he leads a simple, secluded life, in which, nevertheless, sparing no effort, he defends nature. As fiercely as once, for many years, without regard to harming the environment, he defended the interests of the Gasonec concern on the very front front, with the same uncompromising attitude, now he is fighting with him. It is clear to him that what he used to do was a mistake, and only the thirst for profit lies, in most cases, at the basis of environmental destruction and the killing of whales. At first, he is cautious towards Anna, since she is the daughter of a scientist whom Chris does not trust. Only when he finds out that her father paid for an attempt to prove the truth does his attitude towards Anna change. He understands that she stands on his side, besides, Anna is a strong, very decisive woman who is not going to give up. It delights Chris in her. Both of them are in danger from the concern for trying to publish the truth, but there is no better fighter than the one who knows the issue from the inside, and former Gasonec employee Chris certainly knows how to deal with such an opponent. Together with Anna they win. The film allows you to realize the beauty of nature, its wealth, but above all, its tranquility, which people constantly violate. We see that when a person harms nature, it strikes harder than any human weapon can do and we realize how small we are in comparison with nature.
