Chernomorenergo (Abkhazia)

Chernomorenergo is a large state-owned company operating in the territory of the Republic of Abkhazia .

It is one of the most significant in the country, as it is in charge of the Inguri hydroelectric station . In cooperation with Kubanenergo , Russia , he conducts the operation and maintenance of interstate power lines, according to which an agreement was signed, delimiting the rights and obligations of both companies, in 2006 [1]

The current director is Aslan Basaria. In 2000-2004, the company was led by Sergey Bagapsh , the first recognized president of the partially recognized republic of Abkhazia (2008-2011).
