On the approaches to the sky

In 2008, the group uploaded 10 demo tracks recorded in the home studio to the network. After that, the musicians begin to prepare for serious recordings.

In the summer of 2008, the group left for Moscow, where within 30 days they recorded their first album, entitled "On the approaches to the sky." At it, the musicians presented to the listeners 5 rewritten songs, out of 10 demos previously posted on the Internet. The highlight of the album was the bonus track “Two Thunderstorms”, where Sergey Sokol sang a duet with the vocalist of the group “ Aria ” - Arthur Berkut . In 2009, the musicians signed a contract with the leading Russian label CD-Maximum . The release of the debut disc of the group took place on May 8, 2009. ^[2]

The situation is this: the balance of the universe forces the magician to do evil, so as not to outweigh the good. And since life rests on the balance of good and evil, no one should win this confrontation. And before the magician fell in love with the girl, he coped with his task and did not feel remorse about what was done. But after falling in love, love has changed the whole inner world, and now it is disgusting for him to commit evil deeds. He wants to do good, but you can’t do this, he must do evil, otherwise the balance of the universe will collapse and everything that is in the universe will perish. It is in these spiritual torments of the magician that the meaning of the song lies.

The song is written on the novel of the same name by Maria Semenova .

There was no old man and grandson in the story, this is my addition. The man was a witness to the battle between the gods, a fire broke out from the collision of their lightning, one of the flashes hit the witness’s candle. Years passed, the man grew old, and the candle is still intact, the fire does not go out, the wax does not burn, the candle burns for many years, and now the aged witness tells his grandson what he saw.
