Pforzheim Higher School ( German: Hochschule Pforzheim ) is a specialized higher educational institution in the field of international business administration, engineering and design. History
The institution was founded in 1877 .
Pforzheim Higher School, as a state university, is funded from the federal and state budgets. On the other hand, thanks to a good image and many years of relations with the industry, Pforzheim University is sponsored by international companies such as Daimler , Ernst & Young , La Biosthétique , Volksbank , Kärcher , Würth and others.
International Relations
Pforzheim High School is partnering with more than a hundred universities from approximately forty countries in Europe and other continents [1] . The BusinessWeek business magazine in 2007 ranked the Pforzheim Higher School as one of the 60 best design schools in the world [2] . From the very beginning of the WirtschaftsWoche magazine ranking, Pforzheim University has been ranked among the top ten universities of applied sciences in Germany with a specialization in business administration. In 2012, the Pforzheim Higher School took second place in Germany. [3] . The French rating agency Eduniversal included Pforzheim Higher School in 2011 in the list of 500 best business schools in the world and positioned it as Excellent Business Schools: nationally strong and / or with continental links . [4] . The German center for the development of universities ( German Centrum für Hochschulentwicklung ) ranks the Pforzheim Higher School among the best universities in German-speaking countries in the areas of business administration, engineering and information technology in business [5]
