Biography
Viktor Borisovich Ginzbursky was born in Gomel in 1939 into a family of teachers of mathematics and the German language. In the autumn of the same year, the family moved to the city of Bialystok , which was just attached to the USSR under the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact among other territories and became the capital of the Belostok Oblast of the Byelorussian SSR . The father of the future poet is appointed director of one of the city schools.
The war finds the family at a time when the father is on a business trip. Mother with Victor and his brother decides to return to Gomel, where they have relatives. This decision almost did not become fatal in the fate of the family, since the Jewish ghetto was soon established in the city by the Nazi occupation regime, whose population was almost completely destroyed at the end of 1941 . Miraculously, mainly due to the determination of the mother and her excellent knowledge of the German language, the family managed to move to Orel . The city was also under fascist occupation, and the fact that the family managed to live there for 3 years and survive, Victor Gin himself comments like this: “We are from the other world”. [2]
After the release of the Eagle, the family reunites and moves to Leningrad . Victor, after graduating from high school, enters the Financial and Economic Institute , after which he works in Lengiprovodkhoz. Soon he enters the correspondence department of the Faculty of Philology of the Leningrad University , after graduating from which he teaches Russian language and literature. Since 1966, it has been published in a number of publications (magazines Yunost , Neva , Smena ; almanacs Poetry Day, Young Leningrad), has visited the song section of the Union of Composers. [1] [2]
The first creative success came to the poet in 1973 , when Vladimir Migulya, a student at the composition department of the conservatory, addressed him with a request to write the text to his own melody. The first performer of this song - “Talk with me, mother” - was Valentina Tolkunova . This success allowed Victor Gin to expand the circle of composers, in collaboration with whom he later created over 400 songs. Such popular composers of those years as Valery Gavrilin , Vyacheslav Dobrynin , Yevgeny Doga , Igor Luchenok , Yakov Dubravin , Vyacheslav Malezhik , Georgy Movsesian , Vladimir Shainsky , Alexander Morozov , Alexey Ekimyan and many others) composed songs on poems by Viktor Borisovich. The recording studio " Melody " has released 80 records with these songs.
In 1990, Victor Gene and his family moved to Israel. He lived in the city of Kfar Saba , worked as an editor of the local municipal Russian-language newspaper, and performed authorial concerts in Israel and other countries: the USA, Germany, England, Russia. [2]
Since 2005 lives in Jerusalem. The author of four poetic books. For the book "Plays, the libretto" in 2010 became the winner of the literary prize of Israel (Prize them. David Samoilov ).
