Haluaghat ( Beng. হালুয়াঘাট , English Haluaghat ) is a subdistrict in northern Bangladesh within the Maimansingh district. It was founded in 1916 . The administrative center is the city of Halouaghat . The area of the subdistrict is 356.07 km². According to the 1991 census, the population of the subdistrict was 242,339. The population density was 681 people. on 1 km². The literacy rate of the population was 22.8%. Religious composition: Muslims - 89.21%, Hindus - 5.04%, Christians - 5.65%, others - 0.1%.
