Vormu (canton)

Until 2015, the canton included the communes:

• Eskelbek

As a result of the reform of 2015 ^{[1], the} composition of the canton was changed - it included separate communes of the abolished cantons of Berg , Bourbur , Kassel , Ondskot and Stanward .

The unemployment rate ( 2010 ) is 8.5% (France as a whole - 12.1%, the Nor department - 15.5%).

In the 2017 presidential election, canton residents cast 31.8% of the vote in the 1st round of Marin Le Pen against 20.8% of Francois Fillon , 17.7% of Emmanuel Macron and 15.5% of Jean-Luc Melanson ; in the 2nd round, Macron won the canton, receiving 50.7% of the vote.

Since 2015, the canton has been represented on the Board of the Department by Nor by Patrick Valois and Mayor of the Vinnezel commune Anne Vanpeene (both are Different Right ).
