Geography
Located on the highway M13 Bryansk- Gomel , adjacent to the city limits of Bryansk from the south-west.
History
First mentioned in 1572 under the name. Torlopovo (also - Torlopovka ). In the XVII — XVIII centuries. - possession of the Lvovs , later - the Nadeyins, who arranged a distillery here. In the first half of the 19th century, another name appeared in the village (village) - Balakhonovka ( Bolokhonovka ). At the turn of the XIX-XX centuries. near the village was the estate of P. S. Mogilevtsev . Entered the parish of the village Suponeva .
In the XVII — XVIII centuries. was part of the Undercity camp of the Bryansk district ; from 1861 to 1924 - in the Suponevsky volost of Bryansk (from 1921 - Bezhitsky ) county. In the years 1924-1929. - in Bezhitsky volost ; since 1929 in the Bryansk region (Antonovsky, Tolmachevsky, since 1959 Suponevsky village council).
In 1964, by a decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the RSFSR, the village of Balakhonovka was renamed Kurnyavtsevo , in honor of N. G. Kurnyavtsev , the commissar of the Shchors partisan brigade. [2] .
