Matt Cullen ( English Matt Cullen , full name - Matthew David Cullen ( Matthew David Cullen ); November 2, 1976 , Virginia , Minnesota , USA ) - a former American hockey player , center forward . Three- time Stanley Cup winner in the Carolina Hurricanes in 2006 and Pittsburgh Penguins in 2016 and 2017.

In the NHL draft of 1996, Cullen was selected in round 2 under the general number 35 by the team “ Anaheim Mighty Ducks ”. The first match in the NHL for "Anaheim" he spent in the 1997/98 season. January 30, 2003, he was traded to the Florida Panthers . In the future, Cullen played for the Carolina Hurricanes , the New York Rangers , the Ottawa Senators , the Minnesota Wild and the Nashville Predators . On August 6, 2015, Cullen signed a one-year contract with the Pittsburgh Penguins , [1] which he then extended for another year. In the "Pittsburgh" won two Stanley Cup in a row. After two winning seasons, he moved to Minnesota Wild, saying, “Minnesota is my home and unique place.” [2]
As part of the Hurricanes, Cullen doubled to 49 points and 20 goals in the regular season.
Included in the top 20 players in the history of the NHL in the number of matches played in the regular seasons, among Americans, second only to Chris Chelios .
July 10, 2019 announced the completion of a gaming career. [3]
