Attioncourt is located 40 km south-east of Metz . Neighboring communes: Gremes in the northeast, Pettoncourt in the east, Monsel-sur-Say in the south-east, Maseryul in the south, Bren-sur-Say in the west, Bioncourt and Bays-sur-Sey in the north-west.
