Technical Description

NARM is assembled from folding double-pont links that combine the functions of floating supports, spans and the roadway. The adjacency of the bridge to the coast is arranged from coastal links.

The links are transported on KAMAZ 5410 road trains with the OdAZ -9370 semi-trailer. The property is transported partly on links or in special containers on the platforms of road trains.

Unloading the links to the water is carried out by self-unloading (rolling on the rollers of the semi-trailer) or using cranes. The links are laid out by a crane: the sling is hooked to the earring of the upper pontoon, it is lifted until the pontoon turning on the hinges “rolls over”, after which it is gently lowered until the link is fully opened. Folding is done in the same way.

The NARM is guided by towing and motor boats. For the passage of ships from the line of the bridge, a section of several links is removed (lead-out section). The extreme links remaining in the bridge line (access links) are fixed by the upper and lower anchors.

If the material part of the bridge is not enough to cover the width of the river, it is possible to build combined bridges from Narm and PMP , as well as from Narm and Marm .
