He specialized in residential architecture, worked in Ottawa , the capital of Canada, where he built many houses in the first half of the 20th century , among which there are many architectural attractions of the city, in the eclectic style, often with Mediterranean influence (“prairie style”, “Spanish colonial revival style” ").
Most of his houses are located in the central part of the city (the areas of Glib , Lowertown , and Downtown ). He also designed a number of public buildings, including the Ottawa Central Post Office, Champagne Baths, several embassies, and churches.
