Flag of Komsomolsk-on-Amur

“The flag of the city of Komsomolsk-on-Amur is a rectangular panel consisting of three horizontal stripes: yellow, blue and green (field No. 1, No. 2, No. 3). Field number 1 is yellow, field number 2 is blue, field number 3 is green. Fields number 1, number 3 are the same in height and make up 1/4 of the height of the entire flag of the city of Komsomolsk-on-Amur. Field number 2 is the main strip in height, equal to 2/4 of the height of the entire cloth.

Gagarin (OJSC KnAAPO), the open joint-stock company Amur Shipbuilding Plant (OJSC ASA);

- green (green) - the color of hope, joy, abundance. It symbolizes the forever young spirit of the city, as well as the vast taiga open spaces. The district of Komsomolsk-on-Amur is famous for its forest resources rich in relict plants.

Elements of the coat of arms of Komsomolsk-on-Amur are placed in the central part of blue. In the center of the shield is a figure of a young man. He is in the builder's work clothes. The face of the young man is open to all winds. With a powerful scale of strong hands, the young builder, the human creator, is pushing the centuries-old taiga. At the feet of the young man are blue and white lambs of the waves of the taiga Amur River. The golden (yellow) sun rises above the blue satin, rushing up the rays. The coat of arms is a monument to the first builders of the city, who arrived on the wild coast of Amur on May 10, 1932 as part of shock labor assault troops in the taiga expanses of the country and symbolizes the city's ever-young spirit.

The color arrangement of the flag bands of the city of Komsomolsk-on-Amur is made with the main colors on the coat of arms of the city of Komsomolsk-on-Amur.

The upper band of the yellow color symbolizes the continuation of the sunlight, in the rays of which is the figure of a young builder. The light of the sun as it falls on the ground on which the man stands. It shows a thin yellow stripe under his feet.

The main broad band of blue color symbolizes the sky behind the man’s back and the Amur River, against which he stands, in accordance with the emblem of the city of Komsomolsk-on-Amur. On both sides of the figure of a man are green trees, limiting the semantic decision of the contour of the emblem of the city of Komsomolsk-on-Amur.

The lower green strip is the basis of the cloth, which also limits the space of the coat of arms of the city of Komsomolsk-on-Amur and is the base of the green Christmas trees located on the coat of arms of the city of Komsomolsk-on-Amur.
