Var was the great-grandson of Mark Postumius Fest . His relatives were the consuls Titus Flavius Postumius Titian and Titus Flavius Postumius Quiet . After 262 years, Var was a legate of the II Augustow Legion . He was also appointed consul-suffect, but the year of his tenure in this position is unknown. In 271, Var became prefect of Rome [1] . It is known that he was augur .
