Geography

The village of Bortniki is located in the north-west of the Moscow region, in the northern part of the Volokolamsk district, next to the P107 Klin - Lotoshino highway, about 10 km north of the city of Volokolamsk , on the right bank of the Chernaya river ( Ivankovo ​​reservoir basin ). The nearest settlements are the villages of Botovo , Rechki and Spass .

History

In the β€œList of Populated Places” of 1862, Bortniki is the owner's village of the 2nd camp of the Volokolamsk district of the Moscow province on the left side of the Klinsky tract (from Volokolamsk), 12 miles from the county town, at the well, with 13 yards and 121 residents (61 men, 60 women) [3] .

According to 1890, it was part of the Buigorod volost of Volokolamsk district, the number of male souls was 60 people [7] .

In 1913, there were 26 courtyards [8] .

In 1925, the village became the center of the Bortnikovsky village council of the Buigorod volost [9] .

According to the materials of the 1926 All-Union census, the center of the Bortnikovsky village council of the Buigorod volost of Volokolamsk district, 207 residents (96 men, 111 women) lived, there were 34 peasant farms [4] .

1925-1929 - the center of the Bortnikovsky village council of the Buigorod volost of Volokolamsk district.

Since 1929 - a settlement within the Volokolamsk district of the Moscow district of the Moscow region. By the decree of the Central Executive Committee and the Council of People's Commissars of July 23, 1930, the okrug as an administrative territorial unit was liquidated.
