Daulatpur ( Beng. দৌলতপুর , English Daulatpur ) is a sub-district in the central part of Bangladesh as part of Manikganj district. It was founded in 1919 . The administrative center is the city of Daulatpur . The area of the subdistrict is 216.24 km². According to the 1991 census, the population of the subdistrict was 138,606. The population density was 641 people. on 1 km². The literacy rate of the population was 20.15%. Religious composition: Muslims - 91.71%, Hindus - 8.24%, Christians - 0.028%, others - 0.022%.
