Biography
Donald Frederick Blacksell was born in Sydney on February 1, 1934 [2] .
In 1968, he joined the staff of the New South Wales National Herbarium [2] . Prior to that, he was on staff at the University of New South Wales for 11 years [2] .
In the area of his interests is the Orchid family and the genus Eucalyptus [2] .
