Career

Igor Bulanov’s football career began in Baltika . The Kaliningrad club then played in the second league and there Igor played 32 matches and scored 2 goals.

In the autumn of 1981, he was invited by the Minsk Dynamo . For this club Bulanov did not play a single match and in 1982 moved to Dynamo Moscow . In the major league, he made his debut on August 13 in the match of the 21st round against the Kuban , substituting in the 84th minute instead of Alexander Borodyuk [2] . It was Igor’s only match that season. In 1984, Bulanov won the USSR Cup : in the final, the “blue and white” defeated the “ Zenith ” 2-0 [3] . In total for Dynamo Bulanov spent about 180 matches and scored 20 goals. He also became the silver medalist of the USSR championship. In 1989, he left for Lokomotiv . In the second part of the championship Igor played 13 matches, scoring 2 goals.

After Loko, Igor left for Germany and became a Osnabruck player. In the Second Bundesliga, he played 64 matches and scored 1 goal [4] . Then 3 seasons played in the Oberliga - 39 matches, 1 goal.

Before the start of the 1996/97 season, he joined the minor league team Bad Rotenfelde, where he played until 2001 [5] .
