Club career

Azauag began his career in Frankfurt . There he managed to play for the youth clubs of Frankfurt and Eintracht . In 1999, Azauag moved to Mainz 05 . In the 2001/02 season, he played for Mainz 05 II in Oberlig for the first time . In September 2002, the midfielder was transferred to the first team. He helped Mainz reach the Bundesliga in the 2003/04 season.

Azauag missed the first 3 matches in the Bundesliga 2004/05 , but in the second match he scored the first goal in the First Bundesliga.

In 2004, the Azauag moved to Schalke 04 [2] . On January 14, 2005, Mimun Azauag made his debut for the Knappens in a friendly match against Paderborn . On March 4, 2005, the Azauag played the first match for Schalke 04 in the Bundesliga. On March 16, 2006, he scored a Palermo goal in the 2005/06 UEFA Cup .

The 2006/07 season, Azauag played on Mainz on loan. At the end of the season, he returned to Gelsenkirchen .

In 2008, Azauag played on loan for Bochum [3] . After the 2007/08 season , Bochum bought the rights to Azauaga, signing a contract for 4 years [4] .

On May 4, 2012, the Azauag signed a two-year contract with the Kaiserslautern [5]

Team Career

Azauag played 10 games for the German youth team , but on October 2, 2009, he decided to play for the Moroccan team [6] .
