Krukshenk, a young guy from the city of Columbus (Nebraska), created this character for his online channel on the popular video hosting YouTube [1] .
Content
History
Lucas first introduced his character, Fred, to a video posted on the JKL Productions channel, which he launched on YouTube with his cousins, John and Katie Smeth. They opened this channel on June 11, 2006, and the first video about Fred appeared on October 30, 2006 .
On April 30, 2008, all episodes that had been shot at that time were added to the new Fred channel. And already on May 1, a new official video appeared there, titled “Fred May Day”, which stated that Krukshenk asked the YouTube administration for the short name Fred for his new channel. The person who owned this channel before was later shown as one of Fred’s enemies in a series of Figlghorn movie series.
In April 2009, this channel showed a result of one million subscribers, which makes it the first channel in the history of video hosting that has achieved such success [2] . Channel Fred was the leader in the number of subscribers until August 20, 2009 .
It's Hackin 'Christmas With Fred
It's Hackin 'Christmas with Fred is a four-track album released on November 10, 2009. Music videos for the songs “Christmas Cash” and “Christmas is Creepy” were featured on Fred’s channel. The album was also available online on iTunes .
Who's Ready To Party?
Who's Ready To Party? Is an album released on September 21, 2010. Music videos for Don't Forget to Brush, Who's Ready to Party ?, The Babysitter's a Vampire, and Tater Haters were also uploaded to the channel.
