Ajman (football club)

Football club "Ajman" is based in the emirate city ​​of the same name, which is located on the shores of the Persian Gulf . Founded in 1974. Home matches are held at their own stadium, which bears, like the club itself, the name "Ajman".

Throughout its history, the team, although it has remained at the top of football in the UAE for many years, has never become the winner of the UAE Premier League , and even flew out in the first division in the 2009/10 season. Among the significant achievements of Ajman there are only the UAE Cup won in 1983/84 and the Cup Etisalat in 2013. ^{[1] [2]}

The president of the club is Sheikh Humaid IV ibn Rashid an-Nuaimi , who also occupies the post of Emir Ajman (the smallest emirate in the UAE ), and the head coach is Manuel Kahuda .
