Renen is located 55 km east of Metz . Neighboring communes: Grenin in the north, Nellen in the northeast, Ensman in the east, Albestrof in the south, Mondidier in the southwest, Lenen and Francalfrof in the west.
History
- Until 1870, before the German occupation, it was part of the French department of Mort.
