Dorothy-Marie Jones ( born January 4, 1964) is an American actress and athlete known for her role as Shannon Beast in the Fox series “ Chorus, ” for which she was nominated for an Emmy Award in 2011, 2012 and 2013 years.

Life and career
Jones studied at the University of California, Fresno, where she set several shot put records [1] . Jones is a 15-time champion in arm wrestling [2] . As an actress, she made her debut in 1992 and in subsequent years played small roles in many films and television series. In the nineties, she became known for her role as Dot in the sitcom Married ... with Children , in which she appeared in five episodes. Over the years, she has appeared in episodes of such series as Lizzy Maguire , Parts of the Body , Desperate Housewives , Escape , City of Predators , and The Mentalist .
From 2010 to 2015, Jones played the role of Shannon Beast in the series Chorus , for which she was nominated for an Emmy Award for Best Guest Actress in a Comedy TV Series in 2011, 2012, and 2013 [3] .
Personal life
Jones is an open lesbian. [4] Since December 21, 2013, Jones is married to Bridgett Castin, whom she met 3 years before their wedding [5] .
