Content
History
On July 22, 1962, Pope John XXIII issued a bull, Christi Ecclesia , by which he established the diocese of Juazeira, isolating it from the dioceses of Barra and Bonfin . On the same day, the diocese of Barreiras entered the metropolis of San Salvador da Bahia .
On January 16, 2002, the Diocese of Juazeiro entered the metropolis Feira de Santana.
