General information
According to one version, the first settlers appeared in the XVI - XVII centuries. It is believed that the village was formed by representatives of the worn family - Monya. One of the Monia clan ascended the Arleti River further along the tributaries, like horns, to the spring. Here he settled with his family and called the settlement "Syromoshur" ( Udm. "Shuro" - horns, "Shur" - river). The village also has another name - "Mynnya-Kochysh", or "Kochysh", from where it is unknown.
Forests and logs near villages have their own names. "Chashkatel" is a forest near the village of Chashkagurt. Kochyshtel is a forest near the village of Syromoshur. Syromoshursky log - along the village of Syromoshur.
There is no cemetery in the village. People are buried either near the village of Staraya Monya, or at the Umedgurt cemetery. Sacrifices ( yyrpyd seton ) - in two different places.
In 1931, the Hammer and Sickle Farm was formed. On the territory of the village of Syromoshur was the central estate of the collective farm. Subsequently, the collective farm merged with the Arlet fishery.
Previously, there were locksmith and carpentry workshops, a stable, a pig farm, an apiary in the village.
311 people were called to the front from the village, 226 people did not return from the war.
In 1989, an asphalt road appeared in the village, which reaches the farms of Ayashur and Yakimovtsy.
In March 1994, the Presidium of the State Council of Udmurtia decided to establish the Syromoshursky Village Council on the territory of the Seltinsky district.
