Synopsis
After the events of One More Day , the memories of Peter Parker and Mary Jane Watson about each other were erased, as well as the public exposure of Spider-Man was forgotten, although some “vaguely remember” that Spider-Man revealed his identity during the Civil War , but did not remember whose face was masked and whether it was at all. Harry Osborn is alive again and lives in Europe; Aunt May is alive and well, and volunteers at a homeless shelter. Spider-Man himself returned to the mechanical starters of the web instead of the natural ones.
Spider-Man did not appear for a hundred days due to the Superhero Registration Act. At this time, Peter Parker lives at home, with his aunt May, and at the same time looking for a separate apartment. While watching ads in the Daily Bugle newspaper, he finds out that the publication is in financial difficulties, and editor-in-chief Jay John Jameson suffered a heart attack due to stress. Robbie Robertson asks Peter to sell him some pictures of Spider-Man, which convinces Peter to put on his suit again. Soon, Jameson’s shares in the Daily Bugle are bought by businessman Dexter Bennett. Peter faces the villain Threat and suggests that Harry has returned to his activities as a supervillain Goblin, but Harry's girlfriend, Lily Hollister, provides him with an alibi.
It is known that Peter and Mary Jane once had a close relationship, but after the loss of memory everything was presented as if their relationship ended in a breakup and is now tense. Peter himself and everyone else remember that they lived together and the wedding was close, but never took place. It is unclear whether Mary Jane remembers their marriage with Peter and the deal with Mephisto, because in one of her conversations to the question of Peter “I know you?” She replies “We met. In another life". Mary Jane is dating movie star Bobby Star. Spider-Man begins to suspect that the heroine named Jackpot is Mary Jane, however, Jackpot herself tells Spider-Man about herself and that her name is Sarah Eret. When he goes to this woman, she denies everything.
