Aguada ( Aguada , English əˈɡwɑːdə , Spanish aˈɣwaða ) - the municipality of Puerto Rico , located on the west coast near the Atlantic Ocean ; in 2010, the population of the municipality was 41,959 people [2] . The city is known as La Villa de Sotomayor (Sotomayor village, Villa de Sotomayor ), since it was founded around 1508 by Cristóbal de Sotomayor [3] .
