WU LYF (stands for World Unite! Lucifer Youth Foundation) is a British music band formed in Manchester in 2008 and known for creating a halo of mystery around itself, refusing to give interviews and provide information to the press [1] [2] . In 2010, WU LYF took third place in the list of 50 best young bands according to New Musical Express [3] . The debut album Go Tell Fire to the Mountain , which the group produced and released on June 13, 2011, received high marks from such publications as NME and Pitchfork Media [4] [5] .

On November 24, 2012, the group ceased to exist: on that day, the track “Triumph” appeared on YouTube , and with it the appeal of frontman Ellery Roberts, in which he stated that “WU LYF is dead to me” [6] . Evans Katie and Joe Manning found the Los Porcos band [7] .
