Rvanets ( Ukrainian Irvanets ) is a river in the Novgorod-Seversky and Semenovsky districts of the Chernihiv region , the left tributary of the Revny river in the Dnieper basin.

The river is 35 km long and the basin area is 491 km². The source is near the villages of Pechenyugi and in the northeast of Popovka ( Novgorod-Seversky district of the Chernihiv region of Ukraine ). The valley is trough-shaped, width up to 2.5 km, depth up to 20 m. The floodplain is wide (up to 1.5 km), sometimes swampy. The channel is 5 m wide. The river slope is 0.7 m / km.
Snow and rain food. It freezes at the end of November, opens in March. Water is partially used for local needs.
