Geography
It was located in the southern part of the Orenburg province, occupying (across Strelbitsky ) an area of ββ37,007 square meters. miles, in 1926 - 20 976 kmΒ².
The eastern part of the county is elevated; to the west, the surface gradually decreases.

Of the rivers irrigating the county, the main one is the Urals , which runs the entire length of the county from north to south, and then from east to west. History
The county was formed on April 30, 1782 as part of the Orenburg region of the Ufa governorate . Since December 12, 1796, it was part of the Orenburg province [2] .
On May 14, 1928, the Orenburg province and all counties were abolished, the territory of Orsky district became part of the Orenburg district of the Middle Volga region .
Population
The predominant ownership element in the county are peasants , Cossacks and Bashkirs ; Of the total number of 3755086 acres, they own 2687419 acres.
