The instruction of the Cartesian

Carthusian Manual - written approx. 1428 in the Middle High German language by an unknown monk of the monastery Marienparadiz (now Kartuzy ) of the Order of the Carthusians report to the Grand Master on the reasons for the decline of the Teutonic Order and on measures necessary to improve the situation [1] . The report was supposedly prepared in response to a letter from the great master Paul von Rusdorf dated September 29, 1425 to the city of Danzig with a corresponding request. [2]
