Gameplay

Hearts in the game are replaced by "Gems" ( Eng. Gem ). John hits with a whip only directly, but during the jump you can beat obliquely and down. Eric can spear directly, obliquely and up, but unlike John, in a jump he cannot beat diagonally and up. John has the ability to cling to blocks with a whip and cross abysses, and Eric can perform a super-jump (to do this, press and hold the Down button). There are five types of special weapons in the game - three of them are available to everyone: an ax, a boomerang and holy water. For John, a crystal is available, for Eric - " Spear Head " ( Eng. Spear Head ). To use special weapons, you need to press the C button. For a mass attack “up” + C (more stones are used, respectively).

Story

In 1897, the long war between humanity and Dracula came to an end, Dracula was sent to eternal rest by Quincy Morris, a descendant of the Belmont family. But in 1917, an inexperienced witch accidentally resurrected a vampire girl, the niece of Count Dracula Elizabeth Bartley, who was burned at the stake in the 13th century. In order to revive her uncle, Count Dracula, she decided to conduct an unholy ritual with which Elizabeth would take possession of the human souls of all the inhabitants of Europe.

And now, two silhouettes can be seen near the castle of Dracula. John Morris, a descendant of the Belmont and Morris families who, by their own will, fought vampires day and night, and Eric Lekard, John's best friend and distant relative of Belmont, whose lover was converted to a vampire because of Elizabeth. And now both of them are fighting the forces of evil for the sake of one thing - to save Europe already so mired in the First World War from even more destructive horror than the war itself.

Characters

  • John Morris - a descendant of the Belmont, armed with a whip. Went to travel around Europe to destroy Elizabeth Bartley (niece of Dracula) and Dracula himself.
  • Eric Lekard - armed with a spear of Alucard. Set off to avenge Elizabeth for turning Eric's lover into a vampire.
