Description
The project manager is Yevgeny Yuryevich Yasenov [1] [2] : a local historian, journalist, writer, and author of the book “Walks in Donetsk”, “The City That Hugs Made Up”.
The project started in May 2011 as a network at https://web.archive.org/web/20110702210847/http://like.donbass.name/ . In the future, according to his coordinator Yevgeny Yasenov , the stories included in it will make up a book. The book will be a synthetic edition in which stories will be combined with presentation materials [3] . In the long run, when funds are available, shooting a film based on the plots of published stories is allowed [2] . The project involves well-known writers - Natalya Khatkina , Elena Styazhkina , Svetlana Zagotova , Vyacheslav Verkhovsky , Igor Galkin , Vladimir Rafeyenko , as well as authors previously unknown to a wide circle of readers. At present, 21 works are presented in the project.
According to E. Yasenov, such a project is unique to Ukraine [3] . It is built on the model of films: “ Paris, I love you ”, “ New York, I love you ”, “ Moscow, I love you! " [2] . The project was created on a non-profit basis and the authors provide works for free in it [2] . The organizers see one of the objectives of the project as a correction of stereotypes about Donetsk [2] and want to show the emotional and creative diversity of Donetsk [3] .
The project site was created by the Elf advertising and information technology bureau [2] .
