Biography

In 1992 - 1996 he studied at the directing department of the Berlin Higher School of Theater Arts "Ernst Bush". In 1993 - 1994, he was an assistant and actor with Manfred Karge in Weimar and in the Berliner Ensemble . From 1996 to 1999 he headed the Baracke studio at the German Theater in Berlin.

Since September 1999 - director and artistic director of the Berlin Schaubune Theater.

In 2004 he was a guest artistic director of the Avignon Festival .
