Gameplay
The player must control the monkey, which is located in the ball. You need to go through a maze and find a way out.
Characters
As in other games of the Super Monkey Ball series, there are Ayay , Gongon, Mimi and Kid in the game. For them, you can also play in multiplayer.

The game received mostly positive reviews from critics. GamePro in its review admired how the developers transferred the music from the games for the Nintendo GameCube to the Game Boy Advance portable console. They also appreciated the graphics, three-dimensional levels and characters [2] .
The IGN site also praised the game, and in the review it named the best game for the Game Boy Advance [3] . In 2007, the same site put Super Monkey Ball Jr. 25th place among the best games for the Game Boy Advance [4] .
The lowest rating was set by GameSpy , stating that playing Super Monkey Ball Jr. players will be a few minutes [5] .
