Story

A professional thief who lives in New Orleans but speaks with a British accent, whose name is Parker ( Jason Statham ), on the tip of his friend, an elderly thief Bob Hurley ( Nick Nolte ), with whose daughter Claire ( Emma Booth ), he cohabits, goes to the next thing is the robbery of the Ohio State Fair in Columbus, along with four unfamiliar bandits led by Melander ( Michael Chiklis ). Dressed as clowns, Melander and Ross ( Clifton Collins, Jr. ) penetrate the floor into the room where the money is stored, while Parker, in the guise of a Catholic priest, distracts the internal guard. A few minutes later, their accomplice Hardwick ( Mike Hauptmann ) sets fire to hay, and a large-scale fire begins at the fair. Melander and Ross, along with the booty, get into the fire inspection car, driven by their accomplice Carlson ( Wendell Pierce ). Parker and Hardwick go to their cars. Taking advantage of the turmoil, the robbers leave. In an abandoned industrial zone, everyone changes to the silver Chevrolet Suburban Hardwick, who is replaced by Carlson at the wheel. During the transplantation, Parker accuses Hardwick of peeping at the beauties changing clothes in the tent, missed the time to advance to the appointed place, and, as a result, set fire to the hay not at the livestock pavilion, but at the propane cylinder storage, which increased the degree of public the dangers of crime and made its investigation more priority. While driving along a rural road, Melander proposes to invest the stolen $ 1 million in the preparation of a larger robbery, since the mere purchase of the house required for this will cost such an amount, but Parker firmly refuses, preferring to get his $ 200 thousand. Following a predetermined scenario, the bandits are trying to kill Parker, who receives a bullet from Melander and another from Hardwick.

The farmer, passing by with his family, miraculously delivers the surviving Parker to the hospital in Covington , Kentucky, from where he, as soon as he regains consciousness, escapes, intending to take revenge on Melander and take his share. Having reclined under a dropper in a stolen medical van and finding a compact pistol there, Parker enters the hunting motel room, where clothes, multi-tool , electric razor, and another pistol become his prey. After committing a robbery at a checkpoint clerk in Memphis , Tennessee, Parker goes to Houston, Texas and, introducing himself as Bob Hurley's friend, orders new documents from the owner of the printing house, Mr. Norte ( Carlos Carrasco ). Waiting for new documents to be ready in five days, Parker travels to New Orleans. From his brother Hardwick, who owns five bars on Bourbon Street and a rock club, he learns that Melander and his gang are in Palm Beach , an island city of billionaires and multimillionaires, where there is one police officer for every eight inhabitants. He strongly recommends Claire, as well as her father, to go on some kind of camping trip. Hardwick, meanwhile, finds out that Parker is alive, and reports this to Melander. At the request of Melander, Hardwick calls Chicago to his influential uncle, Mr. Danzinger, and he sends in his wake Parker his best killer, named Kroll ( Daniel Bernhardt ), who first gets into Parker's house and Claire in an attempt to abduct the latter (Kroll wears the last name a reporter for the Variety weekly, an exclusive article on the upcoming film Parker was published on April 18, 2011 [3] ). Having managed to slip out of the house through the window and leave the killer in a car, having previously pierced the tire of his car with a knife, Claire calls in tears to Parker, who tells her to go to a fishing camp on the shore of the Pelican Bay, Lake Okeechobee , Florida. Returning to Houston for new documents, he finds in the office of Mr. Norte three Danzinger emissaries lying on the floor under the supervision of Norte and his assistant, Ernesto. In response to a request to lie down on the floor next to uninvited guests, Parker incapacitates Ernesto by shooting him both legs, after which he receives his documents, and, forcing Norte to shoot the aliens from Chicago, he takes with him Norte’s fingerprint as a guarantee silence thereof.

Leslie and Parker.

Parker is heading to Palm Beach under the name of oil explorer Daniel Parmitta of San Antonio, Texas, who was born on September 15, 1978 in Ecuador, as if he wanted to buy a house. The realtor Leslie Rogers helps him in choosing a house ( Jennifer Lopez , who has a sister named Leslie, while the cinematic Leslie Rogers has a sister named Jennifer). During a joint study trip, Parker indifferently drives past luxurious mansions, but slows down at a dilapidated and by local standards wretched house, two months earlier bought for $ 1.2 million by Mr. Rodrigo, also from Texas. He understands that he has found a house in which Melander’s gang plans to sit out after a robbery. At dusk, he returns to the house of "Mr. Rodrigo." Taking advantage of the short-term absence of the hungry bandits, who, for fear of Parker, are afraid to split up, he finds their weapons cache and bends the strikers with pliers. Returning to his car, he discovers in it Leslie, who offers to continue the conversation in a more private setting, after which he reports that, according to her information and observations, he is not who he claims to be. When they come to Leslie’s empty office at night, she complains about fate and asks for a share for information support. Instead of answering, Parker orders her to undress to her underwear, wanting to make sure that she does not have a radio microphone (see illustration). He says that he will think about her proposal. The next day, having learned from Parker the appearance and approximate cost of mining, she suggests that Melander is going to rob a auction of diamond jewelry belonging to the local socialite, Miriam Hope Clendon, who bequeathed all her property to the city of Palm Beach.

The main entrance of the hotel complex " Boca Raton Resort & Club ". Parker stayed in a room with an unglazed balcony on the penultimate, 26th floor of the Boca Raton Club Tower on the right.

Parker tells Leslie that she is now in share. Riding with her to the back gate of Mrs. Clendon’s vast estate, where the auction will be held, Parker sees Melander with accomplices dressed in blue overalls from a company specializing in technical support for social events. He drops Leslie at the Breakers Hotel so she can take a taxi and get to her office, and he goes to his room in the Boca Raton Club Tower , where Kroll attacks him. As a result of the fight, the killer falls from the balcony of the 26th floor, but Parker is seriously injured. Coming home to Leslie, who lives with her Cuban mother in West Palm Beach , Parker asks her to go to the payphone and call Claire, whose camping site is about 80 km from Leslie's house. As an employee of the emergency department of the hospital, Claire sews up the beloved's wounds with usual movements.

At the helm of a boat in Lake Worth's lagoon opposite Mrs. Clendon’s estate, Hardwick waits for the auction to start and remotely activates Ross's sequential fireworks in the speakers. Melander and two accomplices, dressed as firefighters, drive up to the estate in a fire truck and grab jewelry. The police upright all four drawbridges between the city of Palm Beach and the mainland, take the berths of pleasure boats under observation, and block the roads.

The island town of Palm Beach is connected to the mainland cities of West Palm Beach and Lake Worth by four drawbridges across Lake Worth Lagoon .

Hardwick on a boat distracts law enforcement officers, and Melander and his associates, now in wetsuits and scuba gear, plunge into the lagoon and get to their home. There, Parker awaits them, hiding two pistols under the tables. Leslie arrives there, which Hardwick catches when she peeps out the window. Melander suspects that Parker is somewhere nearby, and sends his people to inspect the house. Parker silently kills Ross. Noticing the disappearance of an accomplice, Melander and Hardwick resume their search for Parker, and Carlson stays with Leslie. Melander discovers Parker and tries to shoot him in the back, but the gun misfires. In the ensuing battle, Parker cracked down on Melander. At the same time, Leslie shoots Carlson with a pistol hidden under the table. Hardwick puts a pistol at Leslie's temple and threatens to kill her if Parker does not agree to split the booty in half, but when he pulls the trigger, it turns out that the gun is damaged. Parker shoots Hardwick in the forehead.

Parker breaks up with Leslie, telling her to hide the jewelry in the duct of the air conditioning system of her office and promising someone to send for them in about three months. Six months later, he finds and kills Danzinger. A year later, Leslie gets her share in the form of 24,000 hundred-dollar bills delivered to her home by express mail in two cardboard boxes. In the finale, Parker rescues the farmer who saved him from poverty, who begins to believe that Parker is not at all a man, but an angel of trial and retribution.
