A professional thief who lives in New Orleans but speaks with a British accent, whose name is Parker ( Jason Statham ), on the tip of his friend, an elderly thief Bob Hurley ( Nick Nolte ), with whose daughter Claire ( Emma Booth ), he cohabits, goes to the next thing is the robbery of the Ohio State Fair in Columbus, along with four unfamiliar bandits led by Melander ( Michael Chiklis ).
