History
According to unverified data, the first mention of the village dates back to 1577. Some Polish historians recall the battle of Perebrody in the 17th century. Until 1939 it was considered a Belarusian village, and residents in metric documents were listed as Belarusians by nationality.
Church
Church in a. Perebrody was built at the beginning of the 20th century (approximately 1903), by the efforts of the villagers, as well as by neighbors from the village. Olmany (Belarus), which together with Perebrody constituted one parish. Residents of the village of Perebrody at one time helped with donations for the construction of the church in the village. Olmans, it was there that the priest lived. Church in a. Perebrody was consecrated in honor of the Holy Trinity, and therefore was called the Holy Trinity.
At the parish there was a chapel in honor of St. Paraskeva Serbian. The chapel stands to this day, is located in the cemetery in the center of the village.
In Soviet times, no services were held in the temple; the treasures were performed by a visiting priest from the same Olman. After some time, the temple dilapidated and began to leak, an emergency situation created. This was the reason for the closure of the temple. Church utensils were confiscated, and in the late 70's. the temple was completely ruined, with the tacit consent of the people.
The revival of the new temple took place in the 90s. XX century With the blessing of the local bishop, in a short time, a new wooden church was erected in the old place (in the center of the village), which still stands today. The church was consecrated in honor of St. Paraskevi Srpska (at the request of the parishioner, on whose initiative they began to build a new church) in 1993, Protopriest Theodore Derkach. Subsequently, when it became known that the old church was Trinity, the documents were redone and historical truth was restored - the name of the Holy Trinity was returned to the church.
At the moment, the church is served by a permanent rector - Priest Oleg Paripa. Active work is underway to restore parish life.
