Here is a list of hockey players who have won the Stanley Cup by year, whose names are engraved on the cup. The Cup is awarded annually to the winner of the National Hockey League playoff series.

Throughout history, the Stanley Cup has not been awarded just two times. In 1919, due to the strongest epidemic of Spanish flu, and in 2005 due to a lockout. Since 1939, the winner of the cup is determined in a series of seven matches to four victories.
