History
The avenue was named on December 4, 1974 [3] in memory of Alexander Alexandrovich Sizov ( 1913 - 1972 ), builder, Hero of Socialist Labor , deputy of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR , chairman of the executive committee of the Lengorsoviet in 1966-1972 .
In 1987 - 1993, Sizov Avenue included part of Repishcheva Street from Shcherbakov Street to 2nd Nikitinskaya Street .
In July 2011 , traffic was opened along the site of Sizov Avenue from Bogatyrsky Avenue to Prosperity Avenue.
In June 2013, a memorial plaque in honor of the 100th anniversary of A. A. Sizov was inaugurated at house 30 [4] .
In November 2017, Polevaya Sabirovskaya Street was taken to the target of Sizov Avenue.

The metro station closest to Sizova Avenue is Komendantsky Prospekt of the 5th (Frunzensko-Primorsky) line (the shortest distance is about 830 m along Prospectors Avenue). The Pionerskaya station of the 2nd (Moskovsko-Petrogradskaya) line along the Ispytateley avenue is about 1.4 km. From the beginning of Sizov Avenue about 1.4 km in a straight line to the Staraya Derevnya station of the 5th line, from the end - about 2 km in a straight line to the Udelnaya station of the 2nd line.
On the section of Sizov Avenue from Korolyov Avenue to Parachutnaya Street there is a social bus route No. 38, as well as commercial bus routes No. K-179A and K-373.
Since 1976 [5], the Baikonurskaya street tram ring has been located at the intersection of Sizov Avenue and the Trial Avenue.

There is the possibility of building a tram line along the dividing strip of Sizov Avenue on the site from Testovy Prospect to Parachutnaya Street, with its exit through Repishcheva Street to the prospective continuation of Shuvalovsky Avenue [8] .
