Damian Watcyn Lewis (born February 11, 1971) is a British actor and producer. First of all, he is known as the detective Charlie Crews in the drama Life as a Sentence and Major Richard Winters in the mini-series Brothers in Arms .

For playing the role of Sergeant Nicholas Brody in the Showtime television series Rodina , Lewis was twice nominated for the Golden Globe Award (2011 and 2012), and for the second time received this award [1] . In addition, in 2012 he was also awarded the Emmy Award [2] . In 2014, he became an officer of the Order of the British Empire .
