Arrests

  • 1899 - for participating in student unrest, he was arrested and deported from Moscow with a ban on living in Moscow for 2 years

  • 1912 - arrested as a candidate of the Ufa Social Democrats in the elections to the fourth State Duma and served a three-month administrative sentence
  • February 3, 1938 arrested and executed. Rehabilitated on April 14, 1956 .

Son - Bryukhanov Artemy Nikolaevich. Arrested on April 30, 1938. Sentenced by the CCA under the NKVD of the USSR to 8 years in labor camp on August 2, 1938 on charges of c.-r. activities. Contained in the SevLAG of the NKVD. December 27, 1938 fled from the camp. Arrested on January 19, 1939. Sentenced to VMN VKVS USSR on July 13, 1941 on charges of preparing terrorist acts against the leaders of the USSR. Shot on July 27, 1941. The burial place is Moscow Region, a special object of the NKVD Kommunarka. Rehabilitated on November 24, 1956, VKVS USSR.

Brother - Bruchanov Alexander Pavlovich. Arrested on June 26, 1938. Sentenced to VMN VKVS of the USSR on October 3, 1938 on charges of participation in the c. terrorist organization. Shot on October 3, 1938. The burial place is Moscow Region, a special object of the NKVD Kommunarka. Rehabilitated July 11, 1956 VKVS USSR.
