Wulf also tries to call him twice, but he does not receive a response. Then the detective with his assistant, Archie Goodwin, goes to the Pitcairn estate to offer the gardener a job. They are found, but soon in the greenhouse Krasitsky found the body of the housekeeper Pitciern named Dina Lauer. The police are arresting Krasitsky, but Wulf is confident that another man from the Pitciern family is involved in the murder. Nero Wolfe and Archie Goodwin get down to business.
