Retroversion of the uterus (retroflection, bending of the uterus) is a pathology consisting in a non-standard location, deviation of the uterus [1] . The main reason for uterine bending is a hereditary factor [2] , however, bending of the uterus ligaments, weakness of the pelvic floor muscles, some inflammatory diseases of the pelvic organs , tumors, and endometriosis can also provoke bending. In most cases, retroversion of the uterus is asymptomatic and is diagnosed only when contacting a doctor regarding infertility . Bending the uterus can cause pain in the lower abdomen during menstruation or spotting a few days before it. To diagnose this pathology, an ultrasound examination of the pelvis is enough. The main methods of treating uterine retroversion are physiotherapy, gynecological massage, therapeutic exercises; surgical intervention is adequate only in the most extreme cases [3] .
