Spec Ops: Covert Assault - a computer game in the genre of third-person shooter , the third part of the Spec Ops game series, which was released for the PlayStation . The game was developed by Runecraft and released by Take-Two Interactive on June 28, 2001 exclusively for the PlayStation game console. On July 23, 2009, Sony Computer Entertainment America released a remake of Spec Ops: Covert Assault for the PlayStation 3 [1] and PlayStation Portable [2] consoles .

Gameplay
As in the previous parts, the player selects a team of elite fighters from the ranger group and leads them to fight the enemy.
The game takes place in four locations in different types of terrain. Combining a variety of soldiers in profile, such as snipers, gunners and grenadiers, the player completes mission assignments. The player has a large arsenal of modern weapons. [3]
