Sughatta ( Beng. সাঘাটা , English Sughatta ) - a city in the north of Bangladesh , the administrative center of the eponymous district . The area of the city is 3.56 km². According to the 2001 census, 5378 people lived in the city, of which 51.04% were men and 48.96% were women. The population density was 1,510 people. on 1 km². The literacy rate of the population was 24.7% (compared with an average of Bangladesh of 43.1%).
